Hampton Inn Sheridan

Nice hotel located adjacent to restaurants, and Sheridan and the national forest. Very impressed with queen room with expansive view of surrounding countryside.

Easily accessible from the Interstate

Couldn't deal easily with a request to pay by cash. Receptionist insisted on a $50 cash deposit even though they had my credit card details. Told me I would get my cash back the next morning and then tried to keep it and refund it instead to my Credit card. I had to insist on getting my $50 back in cash. Hotel was not convenient to restaurants or town. Hotel was overpriced. It stated in the Hotel book that a manager would be on duty at all times. This was not the case in our experience as 2 different receptionists had to contact him by phone. Hotel blurb stated that if guests were not 100 satisfied they would not be charged. This was not mentioned to us and we were far from satisfied!

The location was quiet and convenient - really close to the center of town and express or the best Western plus. Furthermore, to the mountains west of Sheridan. Enjoyed our airy and reasonably large room equipped with a couch and good TV and fast WiFi. Everything was perfectly fine.

The breakfast had good choice of food and it was hot.

The common areas were cozy and charming. I loved the mountain views from the pool area. The breakfast was well-stocked and delicious. My room wasnice and neat. The staff was friendly and helpful 😊

The room was spacious and well-equipped for my business needs. I appreciated the quality linens and especially the four comfy pillows that ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with hot, delicious items including mini omelets and well-seasoned steak with diced potatoes, alongside a variety of fruits and cereals. The staff were efficient and friendly, helping me with any queries.

The hotel's decor was charming, with cozy common areas and easy access. I loved the pool area with beautiful windows showing off the mountain views. The inviting ambiance.

The room was clean and cozy, with a tv, refrigerator, and microwave. I enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor swimming pool with fine mountain views. Breakfast was excellent with fresh baked goods and a great selection of drinks. Staff was helpful and the fitness center had everything I needed.

The hotel has seen better days, with peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and an overall outdated feel. You can hear your neighbors through the thin walls, which can be distracting. Several maintenance issues, like malfunctioning TV and internet, may deter relaxation in the evenings.

The room was decent and nothing fancy, but it worked for us. We had an issue with the toilet being broken when we checked in, and they couldn't fix it. Had to deal with it for our stay. Didn't have time to try the breakfast. Close to the freeway too, helpful with food options nearby.
